Eggs are a natural, perfectly balanced food because they contain all the protein, vitamins (except C), and minerals believed necessary to maintain good health.
When my kids were little back in the old country Greece, my wife used to feed them one raw egg every other day . She made the raw egg taste a little more attractive by sweetening it in some way. Today this is unthinkable. For instance, DHEC educates restaurants that sell breakfast, to cook the eggs very well. Yet, all of my children – now grown with their families – ate raw eggs and they excelled at whatever they do. And off course, they enjoy excellent health. Any way you prepare eggs, whether it is hard-boiled, fried, scrambled, poached, or baked, they are very nutritious.
